as i said before, i'm going to start from january (i like to have a nice, even starting point) so here goes nothing.....
the month of january turned out to be pretty eventful for the girls! charlie was a "dancing darling" for the first time, we got to play in the snow a little, and the girls tried out ice skating for the first time! come to think about it, this year is bringing a lot of "firsts".....more to come in the following months!!

even though it barely snowed all winter, we were able to get some snow time in...

charlie, the little dancing diva, decided she wanted to try out dancing darlings this year at hall high school. turns out she LOVED it!!!

the girls had been asking to go ice skating, and frankly, i kinda wanted to go myself! it had been a loooong time since i had ice skated, so i started off just helping the girls with their skills before they convinced me to join them with skates! it was so much fun and the girls did fantastic! so much so that i decided to invest in thier very own skates for next time!

haylie did a great job! she spent some time usingthe chair to help her, but after a short while, she ventured out on her own and loved every minute of it!
charlie was a little more uneasy about doing it on her own, but a few times she did take the plunge and go solo! i think once she gets a little more comfortable she'll be great!
the girls absolutely adore their uncle matt!! they love spending time with him! any time you mention uncle matt, you can see the excitement and love in their eyes! his birthday is in january, so we got to celebrate with him!
the girls are always happy to help blow out the candles!
yes, tom and jerry are still with us!! they certainly don't fit like they did 2 and a half years ago, but the girls don't seem to mind!! they still make an appearance about once a month or so.
