some highlights from a pretty eventful month!
haylie sporting her 100th day of school hat! they did activities all day celebrating the 100th day!!
the girls got one chance to try out their new ice skates before the weather warmed up (in march), but they sure enjoyed themselves!
they can't wait til next winter to get more practice!
our little charlie had to undergo surgery on valentine's day to have her tonsils and adenoids removed. she was such a trooper! it was a long recovery, but i would say she handled it pretty well! she wasn't a fan of taking the medicine (probably because it tasted horrible!) but within hours of being discharged, she was eating! typical charlie! as difficult as it was for us to watch her go through, the surgery was definitely worth it! among other things, she no longer snores like an old man! lol!
here she is, all ready to go!
and here she is with some balloons from some very thoughtful family members!
while charlie was home recovering, haylie celebrated valentine's day like any other 5 year old
....at her class valentine's party!!
when LP had their "lil kickers" dance, haylie decided she wanted to take part! charlie couldn't because she had just had surgery, but she definitely wanted to!
haylie did great and had a blast!! she can't wait to do it next year!
my girls sure love to dance!!
haylie's good friend mikaela was nice enough to come watch her dance!!
what a great friend!!
