seeing as how the girls have been in school for almost 6 weeks now, i suppose it's time to post our 1st day of school pics! lol! i'm really trying to get caught up on my blog before baby jo makes his or her arrival! but of course at the same time i'm also trying to get everything ready for that day, as well as a zillion other things that need to get done! i often wonder what i did with all my free time before i had kids! haha!
here is miss haylie rae, all ready for the big 1st grade!! she started on wed aug 22nd and was soooo excited to start! a bunch of her friends from kindergarten are in her 1st grade class and she got the teacher she really wanted....mrs moore! so far she has really enjoyed it, altho she wasn't too thrilled about her nightly homework....which at this point usually only consists of writing her spelling words a few times. i sure can't wait until they really pile it on! ha!
and here is miss charlie sophya!! she didn't start class until thurs aug 23rd, but on wednesday we got to visit her classroom and teacher and drop off her school supplies so she wanted to be all cute too of course!
i seriously can't believe how fast they grow! a first grader and a pre-schooler! wow!
and here is charlie on her real first day!! all smiles and ready for another year with her favorite teacher, mrs ferrari, and her favorite aide, mrs ellerbrock! she only had a few kids return from last years class, but luckily her 'superfriend' landon was one of them! (i had asked her after a few days of class if she made any new friends, and she said yeah.....so we went thru some of the kids, and when we got to landon she said 'yeah, but landon's my superfriend!' how adorable!)
but really, she's got a great group of kids again this year!! and several of them live just down the street! it's so nice having so many kids in our area, especially when the girls have them in their classes!
